Elegant scrollwork patterns weave effortlessly around each other terminating in art nouveau stylized Acanthus leaves and trumpet flowers. Acanthus scrollwork has been used in various art forms (engraving, carving, painting, ceramics, glassworks) for thousands of years and the challenge of each artist is to find and evolve their own personal style of floral scrollwork. This design represents Paul’s (@copper_pig_fine_woodworking) unique personal version of Acanthus scrollwork, prioritizing the shapes and curves that he finds most eye pleasing and innately beautiful.
